Uniform
Uniform Requirements
We are incredibly proud of every pupil at our academy, and we know they feel the same pride when wearing their academy badge on their uniform.
Please take a moment to read this guidance alongside the Oasis National Uniform Policy, which explains the responsibilities of the academy, parents/carers, and students. The policy is also available on our Policies page.
If you have any concerns or enquiries about uniform, please contact either Miss Endericks or Miss Stephenson

We recognise the importance of academy uniform for several key reasons:
- Inclusion: A uniform supports our commitment to inclusion by ensuring all students feel equally part of our community.
- Sense of belonging: Wearing the academy uniform helps students feel connected to their academy and the wider Trust.
- Safety: A clearly recognisable, correctly branded uniform makes it easier to identify anyone who should not be on site. It also helps keep students safer when travelling to and from the academy, as they are visibly part of a group that looks out for one another.
- Preparation for the future: Many careers require a uniform or have clear dress expectations. Wearing a uniform helps young people develop an understanding of professional standards and the difference between formal and informal dress.
- Pride: Students who are smartly dressed in their uniform and PE/sports kit show pride in themselves and their academy, which we all share.
- Raising aspirations: When students feel smart, they are more likely to feel confident and capable of achieving their goals.

Jewellery & Personal Belongings
Jewellery is not permitted, except for children with pierced ears, who may wear studs on those days when they do not have swimming or PE. Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. If a child’s ears have very recently been pierced they may wear their studs provided that they are covered with tape by parents/carers, before they come to the academy. Once the lesson is over they must remove the tape.
A normal watch may be worn once a child is able to use it correctly. This must be removed for PE lessons. Children with long hair should tie it up. This is essential for PE lessons.
